Baby & Toddler Music Classes

On Tuesday 9th December 2025 GWPS held their annual 2026 Transition Day. This transition program is designed to set up our students for success. Classes are offered in individual and group instrumental tuition, as well as aural, theory and ensembles (which consist of a choir and orchestra). Music Theory is very deep, and as such there are many different levels of theory classes (commonly referred to as grades). It is also indispensable (for some examinations) to have obtained qualifications in Music Theory in order to receive a certificate for practical exams. Location, times, it’s easy, the staff are amazing and my kids love it.
We hold these Guzheng Group Classes either at the school or prestigious auditoriums such as the Ewing Memorial Uniting Church with a grand piano and excellent acoustics. On top of this, we provide Masterclasses and Performance Workshops for more serious students to get even more performance practice. Our Baby Gym classes are made to accommodate children of different abilities, from those who aren’t crawling yet to those who are walking, while still focusing on play  and parent-child relationships.

Miss Natalie (Principal) is warm, welcoming and encouraging, with amazing skills, offering continuous improvement to her students. It is a very inclusive school, and the camaraderie is evident for all to see. The studio space is wonderful and custom built for dance.I couldn't recommend MAD more highly. Glen Music organizes annual Glen Music Orchestra (GMO) concerts and students’ concert towards the end of the year, it is a celebration of musical achievements of our students.
Our Student Recitals are always hosted in a warm and welcoming environment and we receive many students who love to participate. At Glen Waverley, our centre manager Cindy and her passionate team create a warm, supportive space where children grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity. The teachers at AMS Music Centre are more than 20 professional instructors who are fully qualified and experienced in world-leading methods such as Kodaly and Suzuki. Once Delayed Payment Fees have been attracted they must be paid and will not be waived, even if students decide to discontinue. Delayed Payment Fees are applied to any invoice left unpaid after the due date. The fees are calculated at a rate of 10% of the total invoice per week. On Thursday the 6th of November, we hosted our annual New Families Afternoon Tea in the gymnasium. The event was a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, make new connections, and grow friendships within our school community.
