Early Years education

It’s also an excellent chance to meet our team, learn about our curriculum, and ask any questions you may have. Families and the wider community are valued and welcomed participants in the Early Learning programs. We consider families to be our partners in their child’s learning and development. Together, children, families, the community and our team of educators form our broad community and we will work together to provide the best possible learning opportunities for the children. I enjoy getting to know families and making sure everyone feels welcomed and acknowledged each day. I support families through the enrolment and orientation process and work closely with them to ensure their child’s needs are considered while maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.
Programs include nature-based experiences, art activities, STEAM and a school readiness curriculum. Our Government-approved Kindergarten program helps children develop the confidence and skills they need for a successful transition to school. Our toddler program encourages curiosity, independence and early social skills as children explore the world with growing confidence. Children express ideas and make meaning using a range of creative experiences, including painting, drawing, drama, dance, storytelling, music and craft activities. These experiences encourage imagination, self-expression and confidence while supporting fine motor development. At our early learning centre in Pakenham, our play-based curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), supporting children pakenham early learning centre to learn through play, exploration and discovery.

Fresh, nourishing meals prepared daily by an in-house chef help children grow strong, and build healthy relationships with food. Our Transition to School program helps children build confidence, independence, and readiness for the next step with gentle support. I’m passionate about giving kids the best start in life, and I find it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow and learn during such vital years.
I believe that for a child to excel, they must first feel celebrated for who they are. To achieve this, I place immense value on building strong, transparent relationships with our families. You are your child’s first teacher, and I view our role as a partnership—working hand-in-hand to support your child’s unique journey. Indoors, children learn in purpose-built spaces with interactive and natural resources. The rooms give children opportunities to explore ideas, take part in play-based learning and build skills through everyday experiences. Your child could also be eligible for up to 15 hours per week at no cost, thanks to the Victorian Government’s “Free Kinder” Program.

Transparency and honesty are the centre of our relationships with everyone who engages with us. If a centre is full, our Family Support team will place your child on our waitlist. We commit to ensuring everyone we work with is safe, empowered, supported, and respected, especially our young people. We support and celebrate diversity of race, culture, ability, gender, sexuality, and gender identity. Cire would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land and waterways where we work, meet, and play.
