Students will have the opportunity to develop painting skills exploring conceptual and perceptual processes. This is not the usual sip and paint workshop, this is a skill based lesson experience. All art materials, paints, 300gsm paper and brushes will be provided for this workshop. A class size limit of 12 students per tutor provides the ideal group for social interaction with peers who share similar interests while ensuring plenty of one-on-one interaction between each student and the tutor. Only eight students per class to ensure an ideal student‒teacher ratio. This course is for students preparing for the NSW HSC Visual Arts Course.
She always explain(s) the background, the art history, the why and how, the intricate technique broken down in the level that can be understood by her students. There is no other art teacher from other art schools that I know of in the area that has even a portion of her quality of teaching. Teresa also always makes the time to write learning summary for each lesson. This learning summary is priceless, she explained in details what had been covered in her class, pictures of the kids making the art, and explanation of the lesson/technique covered in the class. Parents always feel like they are in the know and even learn a thing or two from just reading the lesson summary.
